Vintage My Little Pony Dolls

I bought a big lot of vintage My Little Pony dolls at the thrift store. They’re all from the 1980s. I saw them in a bin and rushed to get a cart so I wouldn’t look like a mad woman carrying all of these dolls around like you see in the video. I thought I might have one that was worth a lot of money. If you watch the video you will see I didn’t hit a home run, but I did learn some new things. I found some great links for doing research on the collectible dolls. I already knew about “Bronies”. So keep an eye out for these dolls because the show is back on air and there are many fans who want to collect or alternate the dolls. To figure out the names of the ponies use StrawberryReef.com. To learn how to restore the ponies check out mlppreservationproject.com. You want to list all of the names of the ponies in your lot. otherwise the customer might get confused. Make sure you don’t add fake ponies to your lots unless you mention them. there were a lot of pony dolls that were made as a cheaper version.

You can choose to sell them as is or try to fix their hair for a more presentable look. I think it’s best to sell as is. A lot of collectors will fix them as a restoration project. they may also want to make their own version of the pony. Modifications are popular in the Pony collecting crowd.  Even if a pony is missing tails, they can be used for these projects. So keep an eye out for these old toys because they are back in style.
