BOLO Yashica T4 Plus D Weatherproof

“Incognito Item” That is what I am labeling this BOLO. It looks like a cheap point and shoot film camera. Most thrift stores sell these on the cheap. But this Yashica camera sells for a couple hundred dollars. There are different versions: plus D, and all-weather. These versions are worth more. I learned about these cameras while researching DSLRs. Here is the reason they sell for so much. The have lenses that are comparable to film SLRs. Plus it is much easier to take photos in crowd with one of these than a big SLR. This items has a great sell through rate so I doubt this market will disappear any time soon. Most photographers say that this camera has the same quality as a SLR camera. But because this camera looks like a boring 90s film camera, people don’t notice that they are getting their photo taken in public.

The reason this camera is worth so much is the Zeiss lens. There are other cameras that have Zeiss lenses. So make sure to remember the Zeiss lens brand and Yashica T4. This gives you an excuse to check all of the cameras at the thrift stores. Most likely they won’t know that the Zeiss lenses are worth more. That means they will priced just like all of the other film cameras. I’ve had a couple people tell me that they’ve found this camera so it’s possible. Some people have messaged me when they find the same brand. It’s not the Yashica brand that makes it worth money. It is the Zeiss lens so keep that in mind while you’re out hunting! So I wish you luck trying to find these money makers!
