So this is a very very old video that I uploaded to YouTube. I was not expecting it to get so many views. For some reason YouTube promotes it. In the video I explain a story about someone making money by scraping brass beds. I have seen someone buy a yellow brass bed from a Goodwill outlet for $25 and scrap it within the hour and make a profit.
Many people dislike this video because I mention putting ads on Craigslist to buy Brass Beds. I understand that the majority of people know that brass is worth money. The fact is some people don’t. The Goodwill didn’t know and under priced the headboard. That is how you make money. You buy low and sell high.
I made the video to inspire people to think about their time. You need to know how much you are making per hour when you work for yourself. You don’t want to be busting your ass for minimum wage. You also don’t want to take an hour just to find a $4 coupon. You just made yourself work for $4 an hour!
Scrapping is a very well known way to make money. It’s a basic concept and doesn’t take much investment. you will have to have a truck to load up the crap and somebody strong enough to lift scarp metal. You will also make more money if you can guess how much scrap metal is in an object. many people go to the Goodwill outlets and just stuff their cart full of scrap pans. They make money because they know that the pots are worth more per pound than they are paying to the store.
So keep in mind that you can make a quick buck by taking a trip to the scrap yard. And realize that you can’t control which videos you make on YouTube get popular. This isn’t the video i would want people to see first. But luckily I don’t think people remember YouTubers much when they are browsing. I hope they understand the $50 an hour part.
