Amazon FBA Printer – Don’t Use an Inkjet

In this video you will see exactly why you can’t use an inkjet printer for an Amazon FBA printer. It is not allowed by the Amazon seller rules. I also share which printer I use for my labels. You can find my printer in my recommended supplies page. There are a lot of YouTubers giving bad advice. They may have just started selling themselves. This is a big problem for every seller. When I started selling you actually had to apply to be part of the Amazon FBA program. There has been an increase in the number of sellers so I am confident that Amazon will start cracking down on the policies people are ignoring. Sure so-and-so might have been breaking a policy and getting away with it, but for how long. They aren’t going to have to deal with the problems you will if you get kicked of Amazon.

If you don’t follow policies and get kicked off, you have to choose to pay to get your items sent back to you or pay to have them destroyed. So don’t cut corners. It blows my mind how cheap people can get. the printer I use is only $100 and once you get it you can order free shipping labels from UPS. This is a great savings. Doing Amazon FBA is a business. Don’t skimp on your supplies. You could even take a partial deduction for the office expense of an Amazon FBA printer. Just check with your CPA on how much is appropriate.

So I hope I have convinced you to upgrade to a laserjet printer. You don’t have to use the one I suggested but make sure you have one. You also will need to buy address label sheets. Taping over a plain piece of paper is another big no no. I think I’ll add that to my video to do list. Labels need to easily pulled off. Using packing tape is not going to make it easily pulled off. I’m sorry if I seem harsh but I’m upset that some people are trying to be a guru and not giving correct information. You can see Amazon’s Printer Policy here.
