Indian Clubs

Keep an eye out for Indian clubs because they sell well on eBay. People still use these to help exercise their shoulders. The antique ones will bring good money. If you find a pair that’s even better. Wooden dumbbells also are collector items. Usually there is a wood section of thrift stores that I normally skip over but I do make sure to check for these items every time I shop.

Most people would call Indian clubs juggling pins. Just make sure you don’t think they are bowling pins! Indian clubs were even in the Olympics at one time. They were popular during the Victorian times. These are all keywords you would want to put in your eBay title. Machine age exercise equipment don’t always show up in thrift stores but you can almost always find them at garage and estate sales. Some people just put them in their house as a decoration.

I made a video about old Indian clubs. One of the clubs was my great grandfather’s. They give you a workout when you use them. My shoulders were sore the next day so it really works.

When it comes to resell pricing it all depends on condition and the maker of the clubs. You can buy new clubs for about $55. So if someone is looking to use the Indian clubs you might want to start the auction at that if you have a matching set.

These clubs should only weigh around 1 to 2 pounds, otherwise they are called Club bells. These are usually made out of metal. There are Persian clubs that are larger too. These can sell on eBay too but shipping may be pricey.

You can buy these brand new but this hasn’t affected the resale price of the old ones. The older ones are used for decoration and not physical therapy.
